Where it is
The restaurant is at No. 35, Zhongpo N. Rd., close to the Wufenpu shopping area. Walk about 3 minutes from Exit 1 of Houshanpi Station.
It opens for lunch and dinner, and is often full around noon, so book ahead.
What to order
House raw beef pho is NT$150, mixed beef pho NT$170, hot and sour seafood pho NT$170, shrimp and pork fresh spring rolls NT$90, green papaya salad NT$140 and Mekong-style banh xeo NT$260.
The menu also has fish sour soup noodles, a hot and sour seafood hot pot, and set meals for two to four people. Dine-in has no 10% service charge.
I came here for dinner in May 2021 and ordered lemongrass clams, fried tofu and garlic water spinach. The clams are cooked with lemongrass, onion and red chili, and the broth smells great. The fried tofu comes in big cubes on a banana leaf, with a small jug of sauce.
